Amid a tight race, Harris plans a tour in Georgia as a Trump surrogate asserts that the state's governor will support the former president.
The Harris-Walz campaign is now intensely focused on grassroots efforts, aiming to transform the momentum from the Chicago convention into tangible actions, such as phone banking and door-to-door canvassing in Georgia and six other key battleground states: Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Campaign chairperson Jen O’Malley Dillon released new data on Sunday, highlighting the convention’s positive impact across these battleground states. According to her, Chicago marked the most significant week yet in Harris’s early campaign, with nearly 200,000 volunteer shifts signed up during that time.
