Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan today congratulated the Bangladesh national cricket team and all its stakeholders for their historic first Test victory against Pakistan, achieved by a commanding 10-wicket margin.
This victory marks Bangladesh's first-ever Test win against Pakistan after 13 previous attempts, where they suffered 12 defeats—most by an innings—and managed one draw.
In his congratulatory message, the Sports Adviser stated, "We will achieve success if players are selected on merit and remain free from mental stress."
He also expressed gratitude to the Tigers and the Bangladesh Cricket Board for dedicating this victory to the martyrs of the anti-discrimination student movement.
